T-HANGARS
We are currently committed to building 8 more T Hangars. Yates County was awarded a NYSDOT Grant in 2023 for this purpose and they will be located next to the 18 T Hangars we currently have adjacent to runways 01/19. We are excited to be offering additional opportunities to grow our community of aviation enthusiasts here in Penn Yan! We expect the project to go out to bid in the late Fall / Winter 2025 / 2026 and construction to begin in the Spring of 2026.

Per FAA mandate, we are required to inspect T Hangars 2 times per year. KPEO bi-annual inspection form is below for your review as well as the FAA regulations for leased T Hangars on FAA obligated airports
CURRENT TENANTS CAN PAY MONTHLY HANGAR RENTAL FEES HERE!
There are eighteen hangars with each having its own vertical retracting door and power hook-up. The T-hangars are conveniently directly connected to the taxi parallel to runway 01-19 and have their own private driveway entrance. Pricing for 2026 ranges from $275 - $300 per month with a one year lease.
